My name is Levi and I am The Village Blacksmith.

I first started Blacksmithing by volunteering at Nurrangingy's Blacksmith hut at 14 years of age. Here, Gordon Blackwell taught me the basics of Blacksmithing while demonstrating to a large audience.

I completed my Blacksmith apprenticeship in 2005 and spent a few years working in various metalwork establishments. In 2012 I started demonstrating as The Village Blacksmith and I now take my hammer and forge on the road all over New South Whales, demonstrating the art of Blacksmithing.

During a day I will light the forge/furnace and show various forging methods like twisting, bending, cutting and for the more curious crowds hardening and tempering. I talk a lot about the history of blacksmithing and its relevance today. I will also give out some hand made items to some lucky people.

If you are interested in booking me for an event please email me at Levithevillageblacksmith@gmail.com, message me via facebook or fill in the contact form on my page.

Thank you for taking the time to check out the village blacksmith.
